An Idea is Born

Sharnie and Meg co- founded Birthsisters in 2009. As mothers, birth-workers and advocates for women both wanted to develop a platform for information sharing, networking and empowering women.

What started as the girls running local mums and bubs play groups and school holiday art classes quickly developed, and evolved, over many cups of coffee and several births, into the idea that is today Birthsisters.
